It was a hot sunny day when we visited the laksoyan at Barangay Babag. We came into a house surrounded with mud. Some other groups who were suppose to go with us freak out when they saw the mud surrounding the house, they decided to stay at the bus and refused to walk in the mud barefooted. But the laksoy group never surrender we took of our shoes and slippers and passed through the muddy water barefooted.
When we reach the backyard of the house we felt the heat of the fire and we were amused of seeing the laksuyan for the first time and how big it is. The friendly workers approached us and agreed to have a short explanation about the laksoy and the parts and function of the laksuyan.
After taking pictures and gathering informations we waited paitently while comparing who got the dirtiest feet then one worker came down with a bottle of laksoy, he offered us a free taste and we got excited. After drinking 1 shot of laksoy we all agreed that we felt warm inside our body. A few minutes later the laksoy started to flow out from the bamboo spout into the bottle. We hurriedly took a picture.
When it was time to go we walk along the muddy water once again and washed our feet.
